Leaves are falling and temperatures are cooling down at night. We had quite a bit of rain and lawns recovered nicely from the stress of summer. If you have done some seeding, keeping the leaves cleaned up will help the new seedlings come up. It’s a good idea to get your leaves cleaned up before winter to prevent matting in the winter and cut back your perennials. Continue to fertilize the lawn to encourage strong root growth this fall and winter.

We saw quite a bit of boxwood blight and winter burn on evergreens this past spring. Spraying them with an anti-transpirant application in the late fall will help prevent damage. If you need help with anything, please let us know.
